I'd like to place my boys in one.
They've been sick so much this past year that Marcus told me that he's embarrassed to say they are again. I blame the damn daycare center and want a nanny. Marcus isn't fully on board with that idea but I'm praying he'll come around.
So the latest diagnosis...
Jaymeson has strep throat and impetigo.
Brought him in to the clinic after the daycare center thought he had hand/foot/mouth disease because of the small rash on his face, since of course some other kid there had it. But nope, impetigo AND strep. So the kid got antibiotics and his little brother was still under the weather with nasal congestion, cough and mild fever. Brought Braxton in on Saturday morning and he was diagnosed with RSV, and is now on an albuterol nebulizer. Poor kid can't breath. Just got a call from the clinic today and his overnight strep test came back positive too! Great. But not surprised. Making a trip to go get antibiotics for him today but I think I'll do that AFTER I bleach my entire house. And I'm not kidding.
But before I start the germ genocide I think I'll post a couple pictures from the last couple days.
Braxton had me laughing trying to put on Mr. Potato Head's glasses.
I know they go over the eyes... |
Maybe up here will work better... |
Nope, I know they go on the eyes. |
Why isn't this working? |
After overcoming the fear of the mask, Braxton is now a pro at sitting still for his nebulizer treatments.
There is even a smile under that mask. |
There is one thing you can always count on when you're sick. Layla will always be there to make sure you're okay. Braxton loves his Layla, and now calls for her, "Ay-ya!! Ay-ya!!" |
Still not feeling well, so snuggling with blankie. |
Hoping for healthier days ahead.
