Anyone have a bubble?

I'd like to place my boys in one.
They've been sick so much this past year that Marcus told me that he's embarrassed to say they are again.  I blame the damn daycare center and want a nanny.  Marcus isn't fully on board with that idea but I'm praying he'll come around.
So the latest diagnosis...
Jaymeson has strep throat and impetigo.
Brought him in to the clinic after the daycare center thought he had hand/foot/mouth disease because of the small rash on his face, since of course some other kid there had it.  But nope, impetigo AND strep.  So the kid got antibiotics and his little brother was still under the weather with nasal congestion, cough and mild fever.  Brought Braxton in on Saturday morning and he was diagnosed with RSV, and is now on an albuterol nebulizer.  Poor kid can't breath.  Just got a call from the clinic today and his overnight strep test came back positive too!  Great.  But not surprised.  Making a trip to go get antibiotics for him today but I think I'll do that AFTER I bleach my entire house.  And I'm not kidding.
But before I start the germ genocide I think I'll post a couple pictures from the last couple days.

Braxton had me laughing trying to put on Mr. Potato Head's glasses.
I know they go over the eyes...
Maybe up here will work better...
Nope, I know they go on the eyes.
Why isn't this working?

After overcoming the fear of the mask, Braxton is now a pro at sitting still for his nebulizer treatments.

There is even a smile under that mask.
There is one thing you can always count on when you're sick.  Layla will always be there to make sure you're okay.  Braxton loves his Layla, and now calls for her, "Ay-ya!!  Ay-ya!!"
Still not feeling well, so snuggling with blankie.
 Hoping for healthier days ahead.

steps

5 Steps!
That's right, 5.
At 13 1/2 months, Braxton finally took more than a couple steps.
Big accomplishment for those chubby feet.
Walked to his mama.
Makes me smile.

Great Day!

It's been a great day.
Great because I didn't have to go into work last night.
Great because I was on-call and didn't get called in.
And even greater because I sent the boys to daycare (they were scheduled anyway) and crawled back into bed, until 11:15!!!
And I don't feel thee least bit guilty.

I made a quick trip to Target and then picked up the boys.  Jaymeson saw his small gift I had picked up for him and reminded me that he had wanted it for Christmas but didn't get it,
"but that's okay cause you were waiting to get it for me today.  You are the most special Mom."
What is the gift that makes me so special?....a Spiderman shaving kit like Daddy.

I think he might be out of shaving cream by the end of the day!

There was an extra dose of greatness to the day with
the thoughtfulness of my 4 year old.
Before Jaymeson took a nap he had started the dishwasher and when he awoke went down into the kitchen and put all the dishes away!  He made me close my eyes to see the surprise of an empty dishwasher and said, "I thought you could use some help around here Mom.  I love you."
Thanks buddy!
How grateful I am for you!

(And on a side note, I just read my last post which also mentioned sleep....yes, in my world it is a luxury and a sweet, silent gift to myself, therefore, worthy of noting.)
